I have chosen to produce a music video over a soap, film and tv drama as I believe it would be easier and because the other options are less appealing to me as they would require scripted dialogue and acting capabilities, and allow me to be more creative, as I get to put my ideas to a favourite song and attempt to create full video. I enjoy music and watching professional music videos and how they represent each genre and how they attract their target audience; for example the foo fighters reach their target audience through the use of rock n roll culture i.e. guitars, drums, loud heavy music, band representation and rock n roll style, where as artists such as Jay-Z would reach his target audience through gang and street culture, representing himself with expensive designer clothes and jewellery. Both of these artists are more aimed at the male audience however their music is enjoyed by both genders.
